Emma Raducanu concludes this year's campaign and will keep her coach through next year.

The British player made it to the third stage in three out of four major tournaments in the current campaign.

Emma Raducanu from Great Britain will not compete in her final two events of the year because of a health issue she has been battling over the past 10 days.

The 22-year-old was scheduled to compete in events in Asia but has decided to fly home to regain her health ahead of launching plans for the 2026 season.

Her upcoming training are set to feature her coach Francisco Roig, as the pair will keep partnering again next season.

The tennis professional required blood pressure checks while playing the initial match versus Ann Li in the Wuhan tournament and stopped playing when behind 6-1 4-1 on an oppressively humid day.

She again required a doctor's assessment at this week's Ningbo Open, where she was defeated in three sets to Zhu Lin, a Chinese wildcard in the opening round.

Raducanu was also moving far from freely in the deciding set against Zhu because of the lower back problem that has been a concern on several occasions in 2025.

Such performances signaled a promising season, in which Raducanu rose into the international top 30 for the first time in more than three years, concluded with three straight losses.

She held three match points before losing to Jessica Pegula in the third stage in the Beijing tournament last month.

Raducanu won twenty-eight matches in the current season and advanced to the semis in Washington, but the highlight of her season was at March's Miami Open.

Ranked first in Britain made the last eight of the WTA 1000 event, overcoming Emma Navarro, the eighth seed en route then falling in three sets to the world number four Pegula.

She was coached by Mark Petchey between Miami and Wimbledon, with Roig assuming the role in time for the US Open.

The initial agreement with the ex-coach of Rafael Nadal was through the season's conclusion but the partnership will continue, with a training session scheduled for the end of the year.

She mentioned that her three-day trial with Roig after Wimbledon was like a "covert operation" as the meeting was kept under wraps.

The player was close to beating world number one Aryna Sabalenka at their initial event as a team in Cincinnati in August.

The coach also accompanied Raducanu in New York, where she made the third stage before being beaten by Elena Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon winner.
